Job Summary This is a temporary position with FDOT. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Background and drug test required Equipment Used-: Strapping machine, tape gun, postage machine, box cutter, hand truck, pallet jack, barcode scanner, phone, two-way radio Education-: High school diploma or GED Skills-: Attention to detail, organizational skills, willingness to learn, ability to work independently Roles and Duties-: Assist with shipping and receiving of materials via USPS, UPS, and FedEx Items in boxes/envelopes for shipping, unbox received items and restock items shelves Load and unload materials using hand trucks, mail carts, and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner Use of labeling and barcode scanner Assist in the recycling of purged materials as directed Communicate via phone and two-way radio Additional duties related to center operations as assigned Physical Demands: standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, handling, ability to lift up to 70 pounds Environment: warehouse, outdoors Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Shift: Morning shift Ability to Relocate: Tampa, FL 33616: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
