Commissioning Authority/Agent

Job Position: Commissioning Authority/AgentLocation: San Antonio or Austin (In Person)Company: Jasmine Engineering, Inc.Jasmine Engineering is a Project Management and Commissioning Firm. The firm specializes in Commissioning and has an immediate opening for a Commissioning Authority/Agent (CxA) position. Jasmine Engineering does not design or construct buildings.Key Responsibilities:The CxA will be responsible for executing commissioning activities across a range of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The CxA will work closely with the client, and design and construction teams to ensure that all systems operate efficiently, sustainably, and in line with project specifications.Manage commissioning processes for both new and existing buildings.Conduct system performance verification, functional testing, and inspections.Review project designs and provide commissioning input.Develop commissioning plans and specifications.Identify and resolve system deficiencies in collaboration with project teams.Provide support for training facility staff on commissioned systems.Ensure compliance with sustainability goals (LEED, Energy Star, Austin Energy Green Building Program).Support and document project closeout.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.5+ years of experience.LEED Accreditation is a plus.Commissioning Authority certification from a recognized organization (such as ACG, or equivalent) is required.Strong understanding of building systems, controls, and energy efficiency.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer skills with Microsoft Office.Proficiency with scheduling software, such as Procore.Working Conditions:Some travel is required, both locally and out of state.Must be able to conduct site inspections, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.Position includes office-based work and time on active construction sites.Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Employment Type: Full-Time.Work Environment: In-person.Salary: Commensurate with experience.Benefits: Excellent Benefits.Work Location: In person.To apply, please submit your resume via LinkedIn or contact:Jasmine Engineering, Inc.Office: (210) 227-3000, (512) 326-2900 or Alternate: (210) 669-1616Email: jasmine@jasmineengineering.com
