National Account Manager

Scope: The National Account Manager is responsible for increasing our contract base by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The National Account Manager may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.Responsibilities:Identify and establish contact with potential customersSchedule and perform process demonstrations with potential customersDevelop and maintain relationships with existing customersAttend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customersFollow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential salesRecommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographicEnsure sales targets and plans directly tie to the company business planGenerate and submit sales reports to managementDirect new business efforts that ensure that volume and gross profit growth targets are consistently obtainedDrive growth and performance with key accounts in an effort to maintain positive relationshipsManage strategic relationships with key accountsWork with company leadership to identify and develop strategic alliances, channel partners and programsParticipate in market development, including participation in industry shows, supplier conferences, and other designated meetingsPerform weekly 1:1 meeting with key accounts and prospective accountsParticipate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with senior leadership to discuss progress and to establish go-to-market plans or adjustments needed to strategic developmentQualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred10+ years of sales experience with senior level contactsFamiliarity with fuel and convenience is a mustProficient with the usage of CRM systemsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThis is a remote position you must have the ability to travel 50%
