Manager of Data Governance

Job Details:Manager of Data GovernanceA highly respected, rapidly growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Governance leader to help build and elevate data practices across the organization. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence how data is structured, trusted, and leveraged to support both operational and strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and formalize enterprise data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and operating proceduresPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption of governance practices such as data cataloging, metadata management, data quality, and data privacyCollaborate with technology teams to implement and enhance data governance tools and platformsAnalyze datasets to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and quality issues, and implement solutions to improve accuracy and completenessEstablish governance structures, including committees and working groups, to drive alignment, ownership, and issue resolutionLead governance forums and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring transparency and progress against key prioritiesTranslate complex data risks into clear business implications for leadership and stakeholdersDefine and execute both short- and long-term strategies to strengthen data integrity, consistency, and usabilityMonitor compliance with governance policies and ensure ongoing adherence across the organizationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related disciplineProven experience implementing data governance frameworks in large, complex environmentsStrong ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across business and technical teamsAbility to translate complex data challenges into actionable business insightsPreferred Experience:Advanced degree in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative fieldExperience with modern data platforms and cloud-based ecosystems (e.g., data warehousing, data cataloging, or governance tools)To apply, email ss@libertyjobs.com your resume.Sheila Shamlooss@libertyjobs.com#DataJobs#DataGovernance#DataArchitecture#CloudData
