Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional Duties: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism. - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. - Assisting with medication according to prescribed instructions and document accurately. - Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans. - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times. - Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs. - Maintain a clean and organized living environment. - Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings. - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality of resident information.
