Sales Quality Manager

Job DescriptionA Sales Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the sales activities of frontline sales staff to ensure adherence to established procedures, policies, and compliance standards. This role partners closely with the Sales Director to enhance the overall effectiveness of sales operations and drive high levels of customer satisfaction, while ensuring team goals and performance standards are consistently met.In addition, the Sales Quality Manager plays a critical role in fostering a positive, high-performing work environment through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing development of team members. When necessary, the Sales Quality Manager may be expected to temporarily assume the responsibilities of a Sales Manager or Account Executive to ensure business continuity and deliver an exceptional customer experience when all other coverage options have been exhausted.Summary of Sales Quality Managerresponsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist Regional Sales Director in creating and driving a business plan strategy that successfully meets sales goalsAssist business & support units to establish appropriate internal policies to streamline sales processDrive the company's sales and operational training initiativesHold teams accountable to operational and process expectations of the organizationComplete weekly audits of the region's sales and operational processesPromote and instill a positive work environment that is challenging and engagingFill in for Sales Managers and/or Account Executives throughout the Region as needed during vacations, sick time, leaves of absence and other planned or unforeseen eventsQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar field of study with emphasis in: International Business, Logistics/Supply Chain, Marketing or Sales preferred3+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role leading high performance teams3+ years' working knowledge in logistics and transportation industry; including third-party full truckload logistics management, supply chain, tradeshow set-up, and final milePrefer experience in all modes: dry van, expedited, flatbed, oversized loads, refrigerated, intermodal shipmentsExperience using freight management software; Cargowise One and/or McLeod a plusVisionary leader with the ability to use their knowledge, skills and influence to guide and inspire others to reach their potential and achieve individual, team and company goals and objectivesStrong team-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and cultivate relationshipsAbility to thrive in a fast paced and complex environment while making timely decisions under pressureAbility to train employees how to effectively present a full range of services to customers, empowering them to build a complete logistics and supply chain solutionsAbility to mentor, motivate and develop a team to build relationships and effectively present a full range of services to customers, empowering them to build a complete logistics and supply chain solutionsStrong communication skills, both written and oral, and inter-personal skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with people in all levels of the organizationAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing unmatched customer serviceMust be able to read, write and speak English fluentlyWillingness and ability to travel frequently (approximately 50-75% travel) based on business needsAbout UsWe empower business worldwide to ship smarter.R+L Global Logistics strives to provide the best freight solutions and logistics services to our customers.
