Furniture Fair/For Style & Flair!Furniture Delivery ManagerTuesday - Saturday/ 8am-5pmJob Summary:The Furniture Delivery Manager oversees the scheduling, coordination, and execution of furniture deliveries to ensure timely, safe, and efficient service. This role manages delivery teams, maintains customer satisfaction, and ensures proper handling of inventory and logistics operations.Key Responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily furniture deliveries and routesSupervise delivery drivers and helpers, ensuring professionalism and efficiencyMonitor delivery timelines and resolve delays or logistical issuesEnsure proper handling, loading, and unloading of furniture to prevent damageMaintain accurate delivery records, inventory logs, and reportsCommunicate with customers regarding delivery status, delays, and special requestsHandle customer complaints and service recovery when neededEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesTrain, coach, and evaluate delivery team performanceCoordinate with warehouse staff and sales teams for order accuracyQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent 2-3+ years of experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse managementPrior supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesFamiliarity with routing software and inventory systemsValid driver's license Skills & Competencies:Leadership and team managementTime management and route optimizationConflict resolution and customer serviceAttention to detailPhysical stamina (for occasional assistance with deliveries)Knowledge of furniture handling and assembly (preferred)Working Conditions:Combination of office and warehouse environmentMay require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidaysFrequent coordination with drivers on the roadAt Furniture Fair, we've been hiring friends since 1963-people who share our passion for helping customers feel right at home.
