About the CompanyOrbit (findmyorbit.com) is an AI-powered college admissions platform helping thousands of students find, plan, and apply to the right schools. We're launching our B2B side: delivering high-intent, student-consented leads directly into university CRMs, starting with Technolutions Slate.About the RoleBuild our university lead-delivery pipeline and ship the first live integration with our launch university partner's Slate CRM. Clearly scoped, clearly done: when nightly lead files are flowing reliably into the partner's Slate instance and the system is documented for reuse, the project is complete.ResponsibilitiesLead-export pipeline: consent-gated export queries, per-school field/value mapping (config-driven, not hardcoded), CSV generation and validationReliable SFTP delivery to the Technolutions SFTP server: scheduled runs, idempotency, retries, atomic uploads, host-key pinningDelivery archive and audit trail (every file we send, retrievable later)Monitoring: failure alerts, zero-lead anomaly detection, weekly delivery summary for the partner schoolA one-page file spec for the university and a short internal runbook so future school onboardings are configuration, not codeSupport during the partner's testing window (one or two mapping/validation calls with their Slate admin)QualificationsProven experience shipping production data pipelines or B2B file/API integrations (ETL, SFTP exchange, partner data feeds)Strong SQL and one backend language (Python or TypeScript/Node preferred)Care for "boring reliability": encoding edge cases, silent failures, safe rerunsExperience handling PII responsibly; comfort with consent-gated data flowsClear written docs — the file spec will be read by non-engineers at a universityBonus: prior work with Technolutions Slate or other higher-ed systems (Ellucian, Element451, TargetX)EngagementFixed-scope contract; timeline to be agreed based on your availability. We can start with a fixed contract for 1-1.5 weeks.
