Come build the future with us.Amazon is seeking an Insights and Analytics Specialist to support measurement, reporting, and data analysis across Amazon's internal communications channels. In this role, you will execute analytics projects, build dashboards, and provide data support to communications leaders, channel owners, editors, and event managers. You will work closely with the Insights and Analytics Manager to translate data into actionable insights that improve content performance and audience engagement.The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics skills with clear communication abilities. You are detail-oriented, curious about audience behavior, and passionate about using data to solve problems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work backwards from stakeholder needs. You have hands-on experience with data visualization tools, Excel, SQL, and AI-assisted and agentic AI development tools (e.g., Kiro, Cursor, Claude Code) and can translate complex data into clear, digestible insights for non-technical audiences.Key job responsibilitiesAnalytics Execution & ReportingBuild and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses that demonstrate the impact of internal communications across channelsExecute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on communications performance metrics and audience insightsSupport ad-hoc analytics requests from channel leads, editorial teams, and stakeholdersMonitor channel performance and flag trends, anomalies, or opportunities to the Insights and Analytics ManagerData Support & EnablementPartner with channel and editorial leads to help them understand their audience data and performance metricsSupport A/B testing and experimentation efforts by setting up tests, tracking results, and analyzing outcomesEducate communications team members on how to use self-service analytics tools and interpret their dataCreate documentation and training materials for data tools and reporting processesCross-Functional CollaborationWork with Product and Tech teams to improve data quality, tagging, and tracking capabilitiesCollaborate with channel and editorial leads to define metrics that accurately measure content impactPartner with internal research teams to incorporate audience insights into reportingSupport the Insights and Analytics Manager on strategic projects and deep-dive analysesContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data workflowsStay current on digital analytics trends and best practicesRecommend improvements to measurement frameworks and data collection methodsContribute to the team's analytics roadmap and capability-building effortsA day in the lifeYou start your morning monitoring channel metrics, flagging engagement patterns to your manager. Mid-morning, you're training the editorial team on their new dashboard, explaining audience trends and how to filter by employee segments.After lunch, you set up an A/B test for an email campaign and troubleshoot data tagging issues with the Product team. The afternoon is dedicated to pulling SQL queries, updating automated dashboards, tuning up AI agents, and drafting your weekly performance summary with key insights.You wrap up by documenting self-service analytics tools for channel owners and reviewing the quarterly roadmap, identifying reports to automate and proposing new impact metrics.About the teamInternal Corporate Communications operates as Amazon's central source for internal company news and events, reaching a global audience of corporate employees. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
