We are proud to be ranked #8 globally and #1 in Asia among food flavors and fragrance companies.Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for leading the company’s accounts receivable and collections function to ensure timely cash flow, minimizing risk, and support overall business performance.This role plays a key part in strengthening customer relationships, improving receivables turnover, and driving process improvements, while also leading and developing the Accounts Receivable function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the full accounts receivable and collections process to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoicesProactively communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve past-due accounts, disputes, deductions, and short paymentsPartner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Sales, and Business Units to resolve issues and maintain strong customer relationshipsOversee reconciliation of customer accounts and ensure accuracy of the accounts receivable ledgerSupervise and support the Accounts Receivable Specialist, including cash application, credit memos, and ledger postingsMonitor customer credit limits, assess risk, and take appropriate action including credit holds when necessaryProvide regular reporting and insights to the Controller and leadership on receivables performance and customer account statusRecommend and implement strategies to improve collections, reduce risk, and enhance efficiency using best practices and technologySupport audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, including J-SOX requirements; serve as a backup for key AR functions and other duties as needed.Assist in establishing annual AR goals and tracking performance against targetsStay current with industry trends and continuously seek process improvementsQualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field requiredExperience:Minimum of 10 years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experience (manufacturing environment preferred)At least three (3) years of supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, general ledger systems, and credit managementProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience preferredCore CompetenciesStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesEffective communication skills with Senior Finance Management and Sales Management and external customersHigh level of professionalism, accountability, and customer focusWhy Join Takasago?We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success, including:Tuition assistance and professional development opportunitiesComprehensive health benefits beginning your first day at TakasagoEmployee discounts on services and productsLife insurance (1.5x salary) and 401k savings with 50% matchingAt Takasago, we invest in our people—because your success drives our success.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to apply through our career website Current Openings | Recruitment.
