Bloomer Health is a therapist focused Early Intervention agency, that provides in-person services to babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years old. Our agency uses an innovative, digital platform built by therapists, for therapists, to modernize and reduce time spent on non-clinical tasks (e.g. onboarding, case management, documentation and billing). We actively support the therapist from behind the scenes to ensure smooth delivery of services and to help save time on case management. Our platform is further integrated into billing which makes it easy to process and zero extra work for the therapist! At Bloomer Health, we support and mentor providers by being responsive to each therapists’ unique needs. We have clinical directors for each discipline who, via a robust quality improvement process, are able to provide clinical support. We also offer around the clock access to our administrative and technical support teams. You will never feel alone. Provider Responsibilities Under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), a COTA provide direct occupational therapy services to children ages 0-3, who have or at risk for developmental disability, and support families in implementing therapeutic strategies within their natural environment - home, daycare and community. COTAs may work full time or part time. Sessions are prescribed from one to five times a week, for 30 minutes. Therapists are able to create their own schedule and workload based on availability and preferences. Flexibility The Pediatric Occupational Therapist provider can create their own schedule and workload based on personal availability and preferences. Sessions are prescribed from 1-5 times per week for 30 or 60 minutes, based on the child's IFSP. What qualifies a provider? An Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited university. Active COTA license with the NYS Office of Professions. At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-5 years and their families (preferred). Ability to independently set and manage a caseload, process documentation in a timely manner and effectively communicate with families and Bloomer Health personnel.
