Overview: We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide expert mental health services in Houston, TX. This full-time, day-shift role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and may be scheduled across multiple sites in the Houston area. You will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' psychiatric conditions, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care. Required Skills: Active, unrestricted medical license in any state Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and DEA certifications Ability to pass government background checks Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Additional certifications in mental health or related fields Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Prior experience in psychiatric practice, preferably in a hospital or community health setting At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to participate in on-call rotations Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current This position offers an hourly pay rate of $200 all inclusive 1099 contract, along with benefits such as weekly pay via direct deposit, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
