We are the partner of choice for health systems and radiologists, delivering best-in-class clinical excellence, operations, and state-of-the-art technology across our platform.American Health Imaging is seeking an experienced and dynamic Center Manager to lead our Decatur, GA location.Job Summary:The Center Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality, efficient and effective services for our Imaging patients and families in a standard center(s). Creates a positive and collaborative work environment while supervising the daily activities, patient flow, operations, clinical procedures, and performance of center staff. Participates in short-term and long-range planning and business development.Duties/Responsibilities:Greet patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and helpful mannerEnsures accuracy of patient data entered in the RISEnsures smooth daily operations by resolving performance issues and ensuring appropriate scheduling of center staffEnsures patient throughput by completing pre-visit patient care and on-site patient preparation activities as neededActs as point of escalation for concerns and challenges from patients and referring physiciansStaff and Center Management:Manages center(s) within a single geographic areaDevelops and fosters referring physician relationshipsMaintains positive working relationships with joint venture partnerships, if applicableActs as the owner of the P&L with responsibility for escalating issues and concernsDevelops, reviews, and implements action plans based on financial reporting to enhance center performanceManages contrast coverage and corresponding radiologist schedulesAttends training to stay up to date on best practices and protocolsImplements and manages the training and onboarding program for new associatesParticipates in the staff planning and hiring process for new associatesLeads regular team and department meetings and employee one-on-onesMonitors and approves timecards on a daily or weekly basisLeads, initiates, and participates in annual performance evaluations, development and performance management of associatesEstablishes associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverageEvaluates, implements, and manages workflow and process improvements for the departmentEnsures the department has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in placeSupports employees ensuring highest level of patient satisfactionCompletes other tasks and projects as assignedDevelops methods for measuring and monitoring team and department performanceEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred2-5 years' experience working in healthcare environment2-3 years of previous people management experienceExperience with Microsoft Office; including excelRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocolsKnowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelinesKnowledge of basic level computer skillsSkill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completionSkill in written and verbal communicationAbility to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically and identify trendsAbility to provide open, honest feedback to improve decision makingAbility to influence across the organization and work effectively with all levels of management and staffAbility to maintain and build constructive relationships that produce resultsAbility to effectively supervise exempt and non-exempt staffAbility to lead in a manner consistent with USRS and the Departments valuesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlinesAbility to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant changeAbility to effectively handle details with accuracyAbility to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduledAbility to deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassionAbility to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next levelAbility to remain calm in difficult situationsPhysical Requirements:Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones and copiersRequires computer related activities for extended periods of timeRequires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and keyLumexa Imaging provides a competitive compensation program to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performance workforce.Lumexa Imaging is an equal opportunity employer.
