We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Surgery Cardiovascular Physician to join our team, specializing in complex cardiovascular procedures, with a focus on trauma and emergency cases. This role offers the chance to work in a Level II Trauma environment, contributing to essential surgical interventions that impact patient lives daily.Required Skills:Proven proficiency in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, carotid endarterectomy, TAVR, Aortic aneurysm/dissection repairs, and minimally invasive techniques Ability to perform complex surgeries such as lead extractions, LVAD placement, and robotic heart surgeries Strong knowledge of trauma cases and emergency surgical response Excellent surgical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure Valid MN license or IMLC certification Flexibility to handle routine and emergent cases in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills:Experience with structural heart procedures and minimally invasive approaches Knowledge of on-call procedures including overnight, weekend, and day shifts Familiarity with robotic-assisted cardiac surgeries Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Preferred Education and Experience:Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Vascular Surgery Minimum of 3 years post-training experience in cardiovascular surgery Prior experience in trauma or emergency surgical settings is advantageous Other Requirements:Must submit a complete professional file for review Availability for an ASAP start, ideally aligned with the committee meeting on January 5, 2026 Ability to work M-F, 7 am 5 pm, with scheduled call rotations including day shifts, overnight (5 pm 7 am), and weekends Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable as per policy Compensation: $322.34/hour This is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment that values excellence and dedication.
