Registered Nurse-ICU, Full Time, Night Shift

JOB TITLE: Staff RN, ICUREPORTS TO: Unit Director/ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY: The RN is assigned the responsibility for assessing, planning, delegating, implementing, evaluating and coordinating the nursing care delivered to critical care patients during their stay in ICU. This RN has the responsibility for the education of individual patients and their specific healthcare needs. Other responsibilities include effective communication between the patient, family, supervisor/manager, physician(s), and other healthcare providers. Performs all other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred. BSN preferred. Completion of a critical care course preferred or a minimum of one year of experience in a critical care area preferred.
