Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer role is a Contract with a client in Remote. We're ideally looking for an applicant with expertise in SAP ABAP Development. Pay Range: $69-$71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Client & ProjectWe are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project Sovereign Data S4 Solution.The client is a company specializing in advanced technology and innovation solutions across multiple industries.Design and develop RAP-based business objects (managed, unmanaged, and draft-enabled scenarios) on S/4HANA (on-premise and/or Cloud).Build CDS views, projection views, metadata extensions, and behavior definitions/implementations.Develop OData V4 services via RAP for consumption by Fiori Elements, freestyle SAPUI5, and external systems.Implement business logic using ABAP Cloud development model, adhering to clean core principles and released APIs/extension points.Develop service consumption models for integration with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, and external APIs.Build Fiori Elements apps (List Report, Object Page) driven by CDS annotations and RAP behavior.Implement authorization checks, value helps, determinations, validations, and actions within RAP.Migrate or refactor legacy ABAP code (classical reports, BAPIs, Function Modules) into RAP-compliant services where applicable.Perform unit testing using ABAP Unit, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.Collaborate with Fiori UI developers, BTP developers, and functional consultants in an agile delivery model.Participate in code reviews, follow clean ABAP guidelines, and maintain technical documentation.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
