Consumer Connections, a program of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey, is dedicated to strengthening and expanding peer workforce development through high-quality training and educational opportunities. We empower individuals working as Peer Specialists to use their lived experiences to support others in moving toward wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Consumer Connections team, under the direction of the program’s Director
Process training applications and correspond with applicants
Prepare and host online events, webinars, and trainings
Maintain the program’s social media presence
Collect training data and assist with daily program operations
Qualifications:
Knowledge of mental health recovery and/or peer support services is strongly preferred
Proficiency in Zoom, EventBrite, Google Suite, Survey Monkey, Constant Contact, and MS Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
High level of technology literacy and ability to quickly learn new applications
Exceptional multi-tasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as part of a team
Peer training and/or credentialing is a plus
