Armed Security Guard

Overview This is a temporary position..... Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas using surveillance tools such as CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities. Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR. Enforce company policies and legal regulations related to security protocols and loss prevention. Manage conflicts calmly and professionally, de-escalating situations when necessary. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and any security-related incidents. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as required. Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions for maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security roles is preferred. Valid certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring systems. Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and discretion. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond swiftly when needed. Must possess a valid security license or be eligible for licensing as per local regulations. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding our facilities, staff, and visitors while maintaining a secure environment through vigilant observation and prompt action.
