Position Summary:
Join our growing team! We are looking for an energetic and polished individual to support our Outdoor Pursuits Department at our Freestone Lake and Golf community. The Outdoor Pursuits Attendant will assist Associates with member accommodations and activities, shuttle and transportation, and property upkeep. This position reports to the Director of Outdoor Pursuits. Applicants must be available evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
18+ years of age
Drivers License
Boater license (company will fund and provide if candidate does not possess)
Excellent customer service skills
Familiarity with the outdoor recreation industry
Willing to provide lateral service and support other departments with general daily operations of the company such as restocking, shuttling members around the property, etc.
Able to work evenings and weekends
Physical Demands:
Occasionally lift objects up to 100lbs
Able to stand for long periods
Ability to climb in and out of boats
Key Responsibilities:
Assists Associates as needed with department operations, classes, and activities for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, tubing and other water sports, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, traditional organized sports, hiking, and camping.
Supports other departments to create exceptional member experience and include providing member transportation, shuttling for golf, restocking wood, assisting with food and beverage services, serving as a runner, etc.
Completes tasks as directed for general property upkeep.
Complies with and enforces local, state, and federal safety requirements.
