Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Medicine Physician Near Clute, TX We are seeking experienced General Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens position near Clute, TX. Position Overview: Profession: PhysicianSpecialty: General MedicineRate Type: DailyEmergency/Temp Privileges: NoShift Type: Days (PRN - As Needed Basis)Weekend Requirements: Able to work weekends if desired/neededOn Call Requirements: Not applicableStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: Ongoing Key Responsibilities: C&P Exams: Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.No prescribing or treatment involved, focusing solely on thorough and accurate assessments.Specialization Requirements:Familiarity with musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues is essential.Proficiency in METs testing and the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is required.Coverage Options:Travel to leased facilities to conduct exams or schedule Veterans within your own practice, offering flexibility in work location.Option to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours), depending on your availability and preferences. Support & Training: Training: Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). You will receive support for using the provider portal to submit evaluations.Documentation:Complete and submit Reporting/DBQs within 48 hours of exam completion.No narrative report is required; the end product is the completion of standardized forms.Regular follow-up administrative work, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings, will be required. Equipment & Technology: Laptop Requirement: Providers must use their own personal laptop (NO MACs).Quick Credentialing: A fast-track credentialing and onboarding process is available to get you started promptly.
