We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Route Sales Representative to manage all business development and product delivery activities.Job Description:Were looking for a motivated, analytical, and hands-on Route Sales & Business Development Representative to help expand our footprint in the local market.This role blends distribution, customer relationship management, sales analytics, and new business development. Youll support existing accounts, analyze performance data, and actively prospect new retailers, foodservice partners, and distributors while staying close to product movement and delivery operations.If you enjoy building relationships, spotting growth opportunities in data, and arent afraid to roll up your sleeves in a warehouse or delivery setting, this role is for you.What Youll DoDrive Growth Through DataAnalyze sales performance by product, region, channel, and customer to identify trends and growth opportunitiesBuild dashboards and reports to support internal planning and customer business reviewsMonitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer insights to guide strategyPresent performance insights to customers during meetings and line reviewsManage & Grow Customer RelationshipsServe as a point of contact for customer performance questions and data requestsCollect customer feedback and share insights with internal teamsCollaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure strong executionProspect & Develop New BusinessIdentify and research prospective retailers, distributors, and foodservice partnersConduct outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leadsSupport onboarding of new customers and coordinate smooth internal handoffsAttend customer meetings to support relationship building and growthMaintain accurate CRM records of outreach, pipeline, and activitySupport Distribution & OperationsHelp align sales plans with inventory and production schedulesLift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment when requiredWhat Were Looking ForExperience in business development, sales, or account managementComfortable working in both office and warehouse/distribution environmentsStrong analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Office (Excel required); Tableau or Power BI is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter who can manage multiple priorities independentlyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and moving productWhat Would Set You ApartExperience in food manufacturing, CPG, or food distribution salesBackground in route sales or territory managementProven ability to grow accounts and open new doorsExperience presenting data directly to retail or distributor partnersThis role is ideal for someone who:Thinks like an ownerLoves both strategy and executionCan analyze numbers in the morning and deliver product in the afternoonWants to directly impact revenue growth
