Supply Chain / Procurement / Manufacturing📍 Brookfield, CT (or Newark, CA)💼 Full‑time | On‑site | 40 hours/weekJob OverviewHQ Pack USA is hiring a Materials Manager to manage procurement, materials planning, inventory control, and supplier performance in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting production by ensuring materials are available, inventory levels are optimized, and suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.This is a hands‑on Materials Management role in a growing operation where systems and processes are actively being built and improved.Key ResponsibilitiesManage materials planning, procurement, and inventory controlCreate and execute purchasing strategies to support production schedulesTranslate production forecasts into material and MRP requirementsMaintain optimal inventory levels to support manufacturing operationsNegotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliersIdentify, qualify, and manage suppliersMonitor supplier performance using KPIs and corrective actionsWork closely with Production, Operations, Engineering, and FinanceUse ERP / MRP systems for planning, purchasing, and inventory trackingSupport new product introductions and production ramp‑upsContribute to continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiativesSupport sustainability and responsible sourcing effortsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurementExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of: Materials planningInventory managementProcurement and sourcingSupplier managementHands‑on experience with ERP / MRP systemsStrong analytical and negotiation skillsAbility to work cross‑functionally with operations and leadershipComfortable in a fast‑paced, changing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting production planning and schedulingExperience with supplier scorecards and inventory KPIsExposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvementMulti‑site or growing‑company experienceCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $80,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)Full‑time positionBenefits packageOpportunity to play a key role in building a growing U.S. operationBacked by a stable, international organization📍 Location: Brookfield, CT | Newark, CA ✈️ Travel: Up to 20%
