Account Manager – Fire Protection (Sprinkler Systems)Location: Naperville, ILCompensation: $90k-$130k + bonus (projects $1M–$3M range)OverviewA growing MEP contractor is seeking an Account Manager – Fire Protection to drive sales, estimating, and project execution across fire sprinkler work. This role will focus on developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and managing projects from bid through completion.What You’ll Do• Estimate, sell, and manage fire sprinkler projects (service, tenant improvements, and commercial) • Develop and grow client relationships within the fire protection sector • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts • Manage project lifecycle including proposals, contracts, and financial tracking • Provide routine financial updates and oversee project cost performance • Partner with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget • Assist with accounts receivable follow-up when needed • Participate in networking, industry events, and association involvement • Identify cross-selling opportunities across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and industrial servicesWhat We’re Looking For• 3–7+ years of experience in fire protection, fire sprinkler estimating, project management, or construction sales • Proven experience estimating, selling, and managing fire sprinkler projects • Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and construction practices (NFPA knowledge preferred) • Track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts • Experience with project financials, cost tracking, and forecasting • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindsetWhy This Opportunity• Manage projects in the $1M–$3M range • Strong pipeline of work and established client base • Opportunity to grow a book of business and expand into multiple service lines • High visibility role with impact on revenue growth • Collaborative, team-oriented environment
