Refrigeration TechnicianFurstStaffing is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to support industrial operations in Southern Wisconsin. If you have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in refrigeration or industrial maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.Schedule:MondayFriday, 7:00am3:30pm plus overtime and must be flexible to work nights & weekendsPay:Starting at $28/hour (DOE)Benefits: Furst BenefitsWhat Youll Do:Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration systemsReplace components following safe LOTO procedures and PSM standardsPump out and evacuate refrigerant for repairs and valve replacementsPerform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records in Oracle CMMSTest, calibrate, and evaluate HVAC and refrigeration equipmentInspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and specificationsDiagnose issues down to the component level and recommend corrective actionsMaintain a clean, organized (6S) workspaceConduct safety equipment testing to ensure OSHA complianceWhat You Bring:High school diploma or GED2+ years of Industrial Refrigeration experience OR 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience plus industry certification (RETA, Garden City, EPA Universal, etc.)Experience troubleshooting control systems (Allen Bradley, ALTA, etc.)Willingness to complete required refrigeration trainingHAZMAT certification or ability to obtain and maintainPreferred Qualifications:Cold storage environment experienceAmmonia refrigeration maintenance experienceCARO or CIRO certificationStrong diagnostic skills and ability to mentor less experienced techniciansPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20F and in varying outdoor conditionsComfortable working at heights over 35 feet, including ladders and catwalksAbility to lift up to 50 poundsProficient with hand and power toolsStrong close, distance, color, and depth vision (no contact lenses when working with ammonia)If youre dependable, safety-focused, and ready to take the next step in your refrigeration career, apply today.
