DISHWASHER/PREP COOK

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher and Prep cook to join our culinary team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and hospitality, and who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots and pans. Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the food preparation process, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients. Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Support banquet operations by assisting with food service during events as needed. Help maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality service. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
