Delivery Drivers must understand the importance of the customer experience and understand that they are the "Face" of Jimmy John's. Real people serving awesome sandwiches to real people in 30 seconds or less, and deliveries in under 10 minutes!!!Essential Functions include:Responsible for customer product and service standardsFoster an environment of teamworkResponsible for delivering an exceptional customer and store experienceGreet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contactExecute quality store operationsClean store, small wares, merchandise and physical plant as necessaryMust be able to operate food preparation machineryAdhere to all food, safety and security guidelinesMust be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policiesAdditional Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age with a clean driving recordComputer skills including some Microsoft software and register skillsMust be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shiftsAbility to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shiftAbility to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° FCompany IntroductionJimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches is known for their freaky fast and freaky fresh sandwiches made on fresh baked bread using produce and meats sliced fresh daily!
