Jr. Sports Marketing Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Junior Sports Marketing Specialist plays a critical support role in executing best-in-class athlete services and ensuring seamless operations across all SMX races. This position is highly dynamic, combining on-the-road race services, support towards Marketing initiatives, and support with detailed operational coordination to uphold both brand excellence and athlete satisfaction.This position reports to the North America Sports Marketing Specialist, Motocross, and is based out of the Irvine, CA office with 60% expected travel.You'll play a key role in influencing the following areas:Athlete Services & SupportTravel to all SMX race events to support sports marketing initiatives, athletes, and product performance.Deliver premium, best-in-class athlete service to maintain and elevate brand excellence.Act as a key point of contact for athletes at races, ensuring their needs are met efficiently, and professionally.Maintain a strong, professional brand image at all racing events.Logistics & OperationsCoordinate race services van logistics; including, scheduling, organization, and maintenance tracking.Support Brand and Sports Marketing initiatives via racewear allocation and production for key media partners.Handle purchase orders (PO’s), inventory tracking, and proper product allocation.Oversee and manage Sports Marketing space, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and functionality.Support Sports Marketing initiatives for photo and video shoots, including proper racewear allocation and design needs.Coordinate deliveries, pick-ups, and drop-offs with key brand partners and vendors.Support athlete equipment and gear maintenance needs.You Have1-2 years of experience in marketingStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Highly organized and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset.
