Executive Child Care Center Director

Job Description Oversee all aspects of Enrichment Center, reporting directly to ownership Management position with co-director assistant Monday through Friday only (weekends off) 8 am – 5 pm daytime business hours Responsibilities Maintain Enrichment Center best practice standards at every level Build enrollment and relationships with parent clientele Hire, train, manage, and re-train staff as necessary in Emergent curriculum and best practices Responsible for physical care, safety and well-being of children in Center Ensure a safe, clean, and attractive classroom environments and overall center. Develop a positive relationship with each child, while encouraging self-esteem and self-discipline Establish a positive relationship with each child's family, including daily documentation through the software app. (training provided) Plan, write, and implement weekly lesson plans based using emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach (training provided) Review each child’s progress and revise lesson plans as they grow Collaborate with Co-Teachers to further best teaching practices Communicate with Directors whatever will help better KKEC Participate in staff meetings, activities, and free professional development trainings Perform other duties as assigned (i.e., organize classroom environments, clean center equipment, sanitize toys, etc.) Complete the majority of administrative tasks involved in running a child care center. This includes such tasks as licensing requirements, processing enrollments, keeping attendance and health and safety records, ordering supplies, budgeting and keeping billing records. Desired Excellent communicator and a heart for people. Prior experience in Director role. HR/Leadership experience is a plus. Multiple years of experience in Early Childhood Teaching.
