Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Paterson, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Paterson, NJ, providing services to students from PreK through 8th grade, with most students aged 3 to 8 years old. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive school setting, focusing on delivering quality speech therapy to a caseload of 25 students.Key Responsibilities:Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech-language therapy sessions for students primarily between ages 3 and 8Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' communication developmentMaintain clear and up-to-date documentation of therapy goals, progress, and outcomesParticipate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning and evaluationQualifications:Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or eligibility for CCC)Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferredExperience working in school settings or with pediatric populationsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students effectivelyPosition Details:Location: Paterson, NJContract length: May 1st through mid to late October 2026, with optional summer workHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)Age Group: PreK to 8th grade, primarily early childhoodThis role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact young learners' communication skills within a focused and engaging environment.
