Basic Job Functions:Nucor Steel Nebraska is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant.The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial reporting functions, including but not limited to:General ledger accountingCorporate, tax, and divisional reportingAssisting with internal and external audit processesMaintaining and continuously improving internal controlsPartnering with departments across the organization to analyze and evaluate costsDriving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the businessThis position will also participate in cross-training efforts within the Finance Department. Candidates must be willing to work overtime as necessary, including required overtime during month-end processing and close activities.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
