CDL Driver (w/ Hazmat Endorsement)

Job Type Full-time Description Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver with Hazmat endorsement to transport, handle, and remove hazardous materials in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation while ensuring timely and efficient service. Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate assigned vehicles.Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.Pick up and transport materials, livestock, etc. to intended destinations.Secure shipment contents to prevent damage or injury.Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.Map driving routes and follow predetermined routes.Communicate with dispatch as needed.Ensure the shipment load matches the manifest document.Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip.Check weather conditions and road reports before departure.Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform service as needed.Notify managers of any significant maintenance or delivery issues encountered.Follow the delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times.Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.Track and report working hours.Adhere to company rules and regulations.Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather and road conditions.Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.Make safety a top priority at all times. Requirements Essential Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.3+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred.Clean driving record with no moving violations.Must pass a background check, drug test, and hair follicle test.Ability to drive a standard shift - no automatics available.Good background (DISA 2 or Lower)TWIC card.CDL A or B with tanker endorsement.Current Hazmat endorsementAble to operate a 70 BBL Liquid Vac and Combo Rig (Jet Rodder).Able to read sewer prints.Self-sufficient. Working Conditions:Comfortable with long-haul transport.High level of composure and good stress management. Physical Requirements:Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.Possess great physical stamina and focus during driving shifts.Able to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems.Map reading and route planning experience.Self-starter who works well independently.Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
