Parts Sales Representative
Komar Industries (Komar) is seeking a Parts Sales Representative to join our team due to growth.
Headquartered in Groveport, OH, Komar is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial waste and recycling processing systems. Komar provides various waste solutions all over the world, direct to the consumer; from simple compaction equipment to multi-million-dollar, hi-tech waste processing systems Established in 1977, Komar's products enable its customers to improve their processing of waste streams (e.g., corrugate, wood, e-waste, organics, mixed waste) while reducing their carbon footprint and their transportation, energy, maintenance, and labor costs.
This is an active role that responds to fluctuating parts sales demands day to day. Duties below require interfacing across a variety of Komar departments. The ideal candidate will leverage outstanding communication skills to provide documentation and coordination for customer quotation and support, which will promote Komar’s ongoing “continuous improvement” approach.
Essential Duties:
Provide customer service and support for the sales and field service teams on customer part inquiries.
Seek opportunities to sell parts to existing customers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all part sales inquiries.
Manage aftermarket part sales with Komar teams.
Track and manage parts orders from initial customer contact through completion of shipment.
Respond to all custom-engineered system aftermarket parts sales.
Pull relevant reference materials for generating custom quotations.
Work with procurement to get current pricing and delivery on all part orders.
Log all customer interfaces and activities in Salesforce.
Contribute to the growing sales database system (ConfigureOne) for parts pricing management.
Team with Service Coordinator and Accounts Receivable to produce part sales quotes.
Support Service Department by assisting in quoting SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and Preventative Maintenance Agreements
Assist the sales team and Operations Manager with customer correspondence and administration.
Attend weekly production meetings and provide updates on aftermarket sales.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or a High School Diploma with three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
1-2 years of sales experience with an industrial manufacturing company
Experience with blueprint reading a plus.
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
Customer-oriented, comfortable talking by phone and offering assistance externally.
Promote improved customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required.
Experience with Microsoft OneDrive for Business; Sharepoint a plus.
Experience with NetSuites and Quickbooks is a plus.
