Pavement Marking Technician

We are looking for an experienced; hard working; and reliable Pavement Marking Technician with good work ethics to join our team. You will be responsible for performing pavement maintenance and pavement markings in parking lots and/or roadways.Benefits:Health InsurancePaid Time OffPaid TrainingUniform Service Responsibilities:Drives company vehicles to job sites.Operates hand guided striping equipment; thermoplastic hand liner equipment; crack sealing equipment; seal coating equipment. hand guided grinder; and tape machine.Assists with loading and unloading materials and equipment on vehicles.Assists with cleaning gravel; rock; dirt; sand; grass; oil; grease; antifreeze; etc. from surfaces.Assists with mixing paint and filling striping machines and thermoplastic kettles.Assists with installing various signs; wheel stops; and temporary pavement markers.Assists with cleaning job site area; equipment; and tools at the end of each day.Assists with cleaning vehicles (inside and out).Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills:High school education or equivalent.Three (3) years of experience with crack sealing; seal coating; and striping.Ability to read; write; and speak English.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Ability to perform basic math.Must be able to read and understand parking lots and/or roadways blueprints.Must be able to work weekends when necessary.Must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a good driving record.Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.Knowledge of layout a plus.
