Senior IT Project Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager to support a public-sector organization within the municipal/government industry based in Kent, WA. This role is supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT and technology initiatives, including software systems, infrastructure, and business process improvements. Apply today!Job Details:Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours Duration: Long term contract Location: Kent, WA (Hybrid) Job Responsibilities:Lead infrastructure initiatives spanning network, server, cloud, and storage environmentsEstablish project objectives, scope, timelines, and resource plans while coordinating availability across cross-functional teamsPrepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements, risks, mitigation plans, and status reportsCommunicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, leadership, and project sponsorsManage vendor relationships and coordinate with external professional services as neededEnsure deployed solutions include appropriate documentation, training, and ongoing support planningIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks while resolving conflicts and implementation challengesAlign technology solutions with business strategies, operational needs, and organizational standards5+ years of experience in IT project management within a complex or enterprise environmentKnowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks Lead cross‑functional projects involving IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and enterprise technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reportingPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience with public sector or municipal organizationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExposure to data center operations, infrastructure, or related projectsTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
