Junior Finance Analyst

At FF, we're creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact.Your RoleAs a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will support core FP&A execution, including forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and model maintenance, in a fast‑paced public‑company environment. You will partner closely with senior FP&A leadership, accounting, and cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision‑ready financial insights. Success in this role requires analytical rigor, ownership, learning agility, and clear communication.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial models supporting budgets, forecasts, and reforecastsSupport monthly close, forecasting, and management reporting aligned with public‑company standardsReconcile FP&A outputs to accounting actuals and support SEC reporting consistencyPerform variance analysis and explain key performance driversPrepare management reports with KPIs, trends, and insightsAssist with cash flow forecasting, burn‑rate analysis, and liquidity monitoringIdentify financial risks, trends, and anomalies and escalate insights as neededPartner with teams to ensure spend aligns with budgets and prioritiesImprove FP&A processes, models, and reporting workflowsSupport financial analysis for new initiatives (robotics, intelligent systems, digital assets)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field2–3 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysisStrong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiencyStrong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentCuriosity and interest in automotive, technology, and robotics sectorsAbility to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
