Pet Stylist/Groomer

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer/Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling, grooming, and pet care, with the ability to provide exceptional grooming services for a variety of dog breeds. This role offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate environment dedicated to the pets and their pet-parents. Handle animals safely and humanely during grooming procedures, utilizing proper restraint techniques Perform grooming services including bathing, anal-gland secretion, clipping and buffing nails, cleaning ears, clipper and scissor finishing dogs. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas. Ensure heavy lifting of animals or equipment is performed safely and according to safety guidelines. Requirements Pet Styling/ Grooming is a Highly-Skilled position! Experience in pet grooming is essential; certification or training in pet grooming is necessary for this job roll. Knowledge of dog training, animal restraint, and animal handling techniques Must be able to groom a minimum of 5 dogs per shift. Ability to handle animals gently yet securely during grooming procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts This role is integral to ensuring our clients’ pets receive top-quality grooming services in a caring environment.
