Saw Operator - Sterling Heights, MichiganContract Position - Day Shift and Afternoon Shift positions availablePay Rate: up to $21.50/hour based on proven work historyDay Shift runs 6:00am - 4:30pm or 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday-FridayAfternoon Shift runs 2:30pm - 2:00am Monday-FridayJob Description of the Saw Operator:To be able to cut material as specified by the saw list within the given time with accuracy. Cut materials as specified by the saw list. Keep an updated materials and supply inventory. Perform maintenance on equipment or machinery as required. Inform supervisor if equipment or machinery fails or requires repairs beyond capabilities. Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.Education Requirements of the Saw Operator:Must have a high school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. As a worldwide full-service supplier, our customers responsibility is to provide installation and service as required by customer. Therefore, our employees must be able to perform installations and/or service at any of their customers facilities worldwide. Some installations will be short-term and others may be several months.
