AVP of Physician Advisory Operations

This role is designed for experienced healthcare operations leaders and is not intended for practicing physicians seeking a clinical/provider position. As an AVP of Physician Advisory Operations with Parallon you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!Job Summary And QualificationsAs the AVP of Physician Advisory Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the corporate-wide roll out, growth, and management of physician advisory services. You will be responsible for strategic growth, financial performance, and operational management of the program. You will also be responsible for development and communication of program KPIs to executive partners and will align with senior executive teams to both develop and execute on further development and growth targets for the program.What will you do in this role:Develops operational dashboards for key clinical, operational and financial indicators. Collaborates with compliance /regulations department and financial analyst in data collection and analysis of outcomes. Participates in development of KPIs and program targets which measure performance based on financial indicators. Participates in development of annual operating and capital budgets for the service line. Ensures efficient use of resources for successful implementation of service line goals and objectives. Conducts periodic assessments of the program in order to determine clinical, operational and strategic opportunities. Conducts interviews with administrative leadership teams as part of this analysis and consults on underperforming aspects of the program. Collaborates on development of action plans based on program needs and provides directions on implementation of such plans. Assesses strategic influences and industry patterns to develop and implement an annual strategic plan that maximizes opportunities in dynamic payor and competitive environment. Coordinates with the URS and PDU teams on development of new strategies around denials management and peer to peer workflows. Collaborates with corporate, division, and other partners as needed to inform an understanding of how strategic changes impact each market and the resulting challenges that are specific to each. What you will need in this role:Master’s degree in a related area or business administration. Seven or more year’s administrative experience in health care environment. Strong operational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working with physicians and/or clinical leadership preferred. Experience driving operational improvement, process optimization, and organizational initiatives.
