Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Education to lead and coordinate our educational initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence curriculum development, oversee program management, and support student success across diverse age groups. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, administrative expertise, and a passion for education to help us achieve our mission.
Duties
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum plans aligned with educational goals.
Manage program operations, ensuring smooth daily activities and adherence to organizational standards.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of teaching staff and educational volunteers.
Coordinate with educators to provide academic advising and support tailored to student needs.
Prepare grant proposals and manage budgets related to educational programming.
Lead efforts in research and assessment to improve program effectiveness and student outcomes.
Foster a positive learning environment by supporting staff development and promoting best practices in education administration.
Requirements
Proven experience in education administration or management within a university or similar higher education setting.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent budgeting, grant proposal writing, and financial oversight capabilities.
Background in teaching, curriculum development, and higher education instruction.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience recruiting, supervising, and mentoring staff.
Knowledge of research methods and experience working with students in academic settings.
Exceptional writing skills for reports, proposals, and communication materials.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.77 - $35.55 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 33 per week
