Location2–3 days a week in office in Soho, NY.ResponsibilitiesMonetize existing client relationships by managing deals from initial match through confirmation and closeDevelop new relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, wealth management platforms, angel investors, and other buy-side clientsBuild and maintain relationships with sellers, including individuals, venture capital/private equity firms, and their limited partners through regular engagementExpand Forge's network within Silicon Valley communities, high-net-worth individuals, angel groups, and family officesCollaborate with growth engineering teams to manage, automate, and scale inbound and outbound client engagementProvide market insights, demonstrate expertise, and oversee the transaction process to align supply and demandPartner with operations, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomesQualifications7–10 years of experience in financial services sales, with a focus on institutional sales and/or private placementsExperience in venture capital and private equityFINRA Series 7 and 63 licensesStrong commitment to client service with exceptional attention to detail throughout the deal processBachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related fieldAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with secondary transactionsCompensation (NY)For residents of New York, New York the total compensation (salary + bonus) ranges from $250,000 - $450,000 depending on individual performance.
