Dishwasher

Vagabond Blues is looking for a Dishwasher to join our Back of House team! We are looking for a self motivated individual with high standards for cleanliness and efficiency. Flexible availability is preferred. Punctuality is a must, as well as a positive attitude open to constructive guidance. Must be able to lift 50lbs and obtain Alaska Food Handlers card. Responsibilities Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas Load and unload dishwashing machines Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and other items as needed) Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately Set up workstations before meal prep begins, kitchen prep as needed and as time permits Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues Remove garbage regularly Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor Put away, rotate and organize daily vendor deliveries Maintain daily and weekly chores End of shift cleaning and mopping. Skills Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed Time management skills Attention to detail and sanitation rules Availability to work Monday-Sunday, as needed Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Physical Setting: Bakery Coffee shop Shift: Day shift Work Location: In person
