Functions performed by a non-certified technician are subject to review by the pharmacist who directed the technician to perform the functions. This may include entering prescriptions on a computer, entering refills on a computer, counting and filling prescriptions, and performing other suitable task as directed by the pharmacist as long as this is under the supervision of a pharmacist, and in compliance with Federal & State laws and regulations. Position Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge and basic understanding of the interpersonal dynamics operative within the working relationships of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Registration or license required by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. Current Kentucky Driver’s license, auto insurance, and unlimited access to a reliable automobile. No positive drug or alcohol test including, pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters. Must be able to drive for extended periods of time with no ill effects. Must be flexible and have good written and oral communications skills. Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
