Sr. DevOps Engineer (Azure, CI/CD, SecOps)

Hybrid: 3x a week onsite in Salisbury, MarylandOptomi, in partnership with our premier client in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, particularly within Azure environments, and experience driving the adoption of best practices. They will be responsible for optimizing CI/CD processes, improving infrastructure automation, and collaborating across teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise‐grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsArchitect and maintain secure cloud infrastructure in AzureAutomate security testing including SAST, DAST, and SCA for code, containers, and infrastructureIntegrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks directly into CI/CD workflowsEvaluate and deploy cloud‐native security toolingAutomate security operations and infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation)Establish DevOps processes, governance controls, and operational best practicesEnsure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, and GDPRDrive automation to improve release velocity while maintaining security and reliability standardsRequired Qualifications10+ years of overall IT experience, majority in DevOps/Cloud EngineeringStrong experience building CI/CD architecture with Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsHands‐on experience with AzureProven experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of Infrastructure‐as‐Code and automationAbility to establish engineering processes and operational controlsStrong written and verbal communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
