Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Dexterity International is hiring a compassionate, upbeat and caring individual who is excited about making a positive impact in the life of our clients by offering a 1:1 care for Individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities. As an Independent Living Assistance worker, you would play a vital role in providing services to individuals who may need help to overcome barriers in living independent lifestyles. Assistance with activities of daily living, running errands, transporting to medical, enjoying recreational activities together, running errands, transporting to medical appointments. Assisting with meal prep/cooking. Financial Management and some house keeping duties may be included as well. Your number one goal will be to assist client reach their highest level of independence. Qualifications - Caregiving experience -Socialization - Patient observation skills - Cleaning experience -Direct Support Experience - Patient care experience - Basic Cooking skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
