Maintenance Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Monitors a variety of Maintenance Systems to insure proper operations. Performs routine maintenance to healthcare buildings and equipment, grounds keeping, and provides minor repairs, adjustments, resetting or troubleshooting of systems. This position will operate one week on and one week off.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Building facilities maintenance background preferred. Valid Alaska driver’s license required.Certified able to wear a respirator.Customer Service oriented focus. Ability to operate heavy equipment. Must maintain confidentiality including HIPAA/HITECH information.Certified for airport driving within first three months of employment.First Aid/CPR within first six months of employment.Possess current or obtain State of Alaska Provisional/level 1 water treatment certification within 1 year of hire. Possess current or successful completion of Class III Boiler licensure within the first year of employment.Completion of ICS 100, 200 within 90 days of hire.
