Measures of student growth will be aligned with the DeSoto Parish School System's accountability measures as outlined in the Louisiana Accountability System.QUALIFICATIONS:United States citizen or authorized alien.Those requirements as outlined in Louisiana Bulletin 746. (Louisiana Standards of State Certification of School Personnel)Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks and duties.REPORTS TO: School PrincipalSUPERVISES: Assigned StudentsJOB GOAL: Plan and implement a program, creating an environment where students can learn and develop optimally.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Will align classroom instruction with the components of the NIET Teaching and Learning Standards Rubric Domains, Indicators and Descriptors or the CLASS rubric.PERSONAL QUALITIES:Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Possesses the knowledge to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.PROFESSIONAL GROWTH:Growing and Developing ProfessionallyReflecting on Teaching and utilizing the IGP as directed by the districtPROFESSIONAL ETHICS (Does not require IAPs.
