Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in Jackson, OH Join the dedicated team at a well-respected facility in Jackson, Ohio, as an experienced Emergency Medicine Provider. Holzer Jackson provides essential care and clinical excellence in a community-focused environment. Ideal candidates should be available for a minimum of 5 shifts a month, with a preference for 8-10 shifts and ongoing availability of 12+ months. Job Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical care during your shifts. Oversee advanced practice providers (APPs) in the Emergency Department. Deliver timely assessment and treatment plans for patients. Manage admissions and write orders as needed. Ensure effective communication with consultants, including radiologists and other specialists. Participate in the hospital's fast-track system. Utilize EMR systems (All Scripts/Paragon) for patient documentation. Qualifications: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABMS/AOA). 2+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and collaborative abilities. License and Certification Requirements: Current Ohio state medical license (may accept IMLC with proof of LOQ). COVID-19 Vaccination (required). ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required). NRP certification (required).
