Lead Engineer

Job DescriptionNDI Engineering Company is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to join our team and support design projects in our Thorofare, NJ office.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in design of Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems; have experience executing design projects, particularly in AutoCAD; possess strong organizational skills and attention to details; and, possess strong communication skills.\nJob Responsibilities\n\nOrganize and assign design tasks in accordance with design process procedures.\nIdentify personnel requirements in support of design development across multiple disciplines\nProvide instruction, guidance and direction to design developers in execution of the design by providing mentorship and leadership.\nReview design requirements and establish analyses criteria.\nConduct and document analyses supporting the suitability of designs; make design recommendations with engineering sketches of concepts to address design issues.\nCommunicate with the customer technical personnel and others on the project team.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.\nMust possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree; Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training Certification preferred but not required\nMust have at least 7 years of engineering experience.\nMust have experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook.\nExcellent leadership and communications skills.\nWork to be in the NDI office is required but work schedule flexibility may be provided upon request.\n\nNDI Engineering Company is a privately-held small business consulting firm.
