We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the West Lafayette, IN area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. Most students still prefer in-person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or travel to students in the West Lafayette, IN area.ResponsibilitiesProvide private music lessons (primarily piano) to students in their homes, your home/studio, or via webcam as needed.Maintain professional communication with the office and students; arrive on time for all lessons.Develop and implement own curriculum and lesson plans; manage scheduling locally.Travel to students as required and manage travel time within compensation.Help light an engaging and accessible music-learning environment aligned with the company philosophy: "Learn to Play From the Heart".QualificationsFormal music training is not mandatory, but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.Compensation & BenefitsIndependent contractor basis; rate between $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention.Freedom to set your own schedule and your own curriculum/lesson plans.Marketing, advertising, SEO, and billing handled by the company to bring in students and reduce administrative load.ApplicationIf you are great with kids, love teaching, stay in good communication with our office, and are organized and on time for all lessons, Taylor Robinson Music might be the place.
