In return for hard work and dedication, our goal is to provide a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace for every employee.Job Title: Materials Flow SpecialistFLSA Status: Non-exemptJob Purpose: Supports the production staff by ensuring efficient/accurate delivery of materials throughout the facilityJob Duties:Execute Oracle-directed material picks and confirm completion through handheld scannersEnsure accurate sub-inventory and locator movement, sustaining real-time material visibilityMove raw materials, MIP, and consumables to the production floor per pick lists and BOM demandConduct rapid response replenishment when shortages are identifiedMaintain material flow paths, staging organization, and FIFO standardsReport material discrepancies, damaged goods, or mislocated inventory immediatelySupport cycle counting and root-cause investigation for inventory variancesPlace and verify MIP tags, barcode accuracy, and locator labeling complianceCollaborate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production to prevent downtimeFollow established safety, forklift, and PPE requirements at all timesEnsure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and report any issues to managementQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDVocational Training or Apprenticeship helpfulExcellent Attendance & reliabilityUnderstanding of ERP inventory flow (Oracle preferred)Strong accuracy in scanning and transaction confirmationKnowledge of locating systems, material zones, and pick logicProblem-solving abilities related to shortages and data errorsEffective communication across cross-functional teamsProficient with Time Management skills, scheduling & organizational skillsStrong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills neededMust be flexible and adapt to changes in responsibilities & environmentOSHA safety training a plus, but not requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, walking, pushing carts, and equipment operationAbility to operate pallet jacks or forklifts (certified)ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS WITH US AND APPLY NOW!EEO StatementChampion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
